Enabling SpamAssassin for Email in Plesk

Learn how to activate SpamAssassin for your email accounts in Plesk. This guide walks you through each step to help you filter out unwanted spam and keep your inbox secure.

Steps

  1. Log in to Plesk through your Zeniar Portal
  2. Select Mail from the left-hand menu
  3. Click on the email account you'd like to enable SpamAssassin for
  4. Click the Spam Filter tab at the top
  5. Tick the box next to Switch on spam filtering for this email address
  6. Choose how you'd like RoundCube to handle spam emails when they're received
  7. Click on Show Advanced Settings for additional options. For the best performance, we recommend setting the Spam filter sensitivity to 2
  8. Once you're happy with your settings, click OK to save

Repeat these steps for each email account you'd like to apply spam filtering to.
