Restoring a WordPress Backup with WP Toolkit
Learn how to restore a backup of your WordPress website using the WP Toolkit in Plesk. This feature allows you to revert your site to a previous state in case of any issues or data loss, giving you peace of mind.
Steps
- Log in to Plesk via your Zeniar Portal and open the WP Toolkit
- Click on the Back Up / Restore tab
- Click the Restore button next to the backup you'd like to restore
- A confirmation message will appear advising that your current data will be overwritten with the backup. Click Restore to proceed
Please note: This only overwrites the WordPress files and content within the WordPress directory. Any files or folders created outside of the WordPress directory will not be affected.
- The progress of the restore will be shown in the bottom right corner of the page
- Once the restore is complete, a success message will be displayed
