Importing a Database in phpMyAdmin
Learn how to import an existing database and its tables into a new database using phpMyAdmin, accessible directly from your Plesk control panel. This guide walks you through the process so you can get your data transferred quickly and easily.
Steps
- Access phpMyAdmin from within the Plesk panel
- Select the database you'd like to import the data into from the left-hand menu
- Click the Import button in the top menu
- Under File to import, click Choose File and locate the database file on your computer
- Click the Go button in the bottom right corner of the page
Once the upload is complete, a success message will appear confirming your tables have been imported.
